THE TOTTENVILLE HISTORICAL SOCIETY WILL PUBLISH ITS FIRST PICTORIAL LOCAL HISTORY BOOK AS PART OF THE IMAGES OF AMERICA SERIES WITH ARCADIA PUBLISHING.  PLEASE CONTACT US BY JULY 15, 2010 IF YOU HAVE PRE-1970 PHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGES THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR INCLUSION IN THE BOOK.  THESE IMAGES SHOULD DEPICT EVERYDAY LIFE IN THE COMMUNITY; WE ARE ESPECIALLY INTERESTED IN ORGANIZATIONAL, RELIGIOUS, BUSINESS, AND SPORTING EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES.

To help close the gap of information about daily life in this community, especially during the past fifty years, we began conducting oral history interviews, and continue to encourage our members and friends to record their memories and stories.  Sharing and passing down your reminiscences of people, places, and events  -- what a priceless gift!
