The Kreischer Mansion, built ca. 1880 for Charles Kreischer, one of the three sons of Balthasar Kreischer, industrialist. Located on a hilltop in the former village of Kreischerville (now Charleston), this beautifully restored home is a NYC Designated Landmark and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
