In Veterans Memorial Park, adjacent to 291 Main St., Tottenville (the former American Legion building), stands a granite monument that was dedicated in 1953 which reads as follows:

 Dedicated to the men and women
who served in the Armed Forces of the U.S. during
World War II - Korean Conflict - Vietnam Conflict.
